iPad classroom + AirPlay = Holy !@#$

I just read this quick article and video about a project management class at Notre Dame that gave iPads to all of the students and wants the class to be "All iPad" ... the textbook is delivered as an eBook, students can take notes, or do whatever else they want with it.

An All iPad Classroom - PSFK

With Apple's announcement yesterday of AirPlay, whereby iPads can stream video to other iPads, iPhones, iPods, or Apple TV's, we are a blink away from a student being able to share anything on their screen with the class effortlessly.  Student presentations, cool websites that were found, or anything else can be vaulted to the front of the classroom.  It kind of makes my head spin.  And might just start taking the wind out of Microsoft Surface's sails, which I still haven't seen in the marketplace.

What do you think?
